We sell only diamonds that have GIA certificatication, the most important international grading system for certified diamonds.

GIA (Gemological
Institute of America) certificate.
The
GIA system of grading was first developed in the 1930's, and has
influenced the development of other nomenclatures since then. Grading
applies to clarity, colour, and also to cut. In the GIA certification,
grading of cut is very important and is carried out very precisely.
Judgement
of the proportions of the cut are based on the Tolkowski brilliant
- the American Ideal Cut - and the proportions and symmetry of the
cut are just as critically examined and judged as are the inclusions and other characteristics.
It's certification that allows you to compare diamonds meaningfully one against another, giving you the confidence that you are comparing equivalent stones and allowing you to properly judge whether the price you are being asked to pay is appropriate.
To provide assurance that the stone you are buying is really the stone described in the certificate, GIA diamonds under a carat in weight are now laser-etched with a tiny, microscopic serial number just under the girdle.
